Ireland, Spain and Norway to recognise Palestine as a state.

 


Ireland, Spain and Norway have announced that they will accept Palestine as a state by this Tuesday. 

About 144 out 193 countries that are member of United Nations recognized Palestinian statehood.

Israel has pulled its ambassadors from Madrid, Oslo and Dublin as a response.

Germany, France and US are against the decision of the three states.

Palestinians authority in the West Bank has welcomed the bold decision of Spain, Norway and Ireland.

Ireland Prime Minister, Simon Harris said that people of the Ireland know that the only way to bring peace between Israel and Palestinian is a two-state solution.

Pedro Sánchez said that this is a historic decision which aims to bring peace between Israelis and Palestine.

Spain will recognise Palestine with respect to 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
