China will work with all political parties in Palestine in order to facilitate reconciliation. Hamas and Fatah would meet in Beijing with Chinese Officials on July 20 and 21.

China to host reconciliation meeting between Hamas and Fatah.

The Foreign Ministry of China said on Tuesday that China will promote reconciliation between Palestinian factions:  Hamas and Fateh. Added, China will work with all political parties in Palestine in order to facilitate reconciliation. 

The Hamas representation will be headed by Ismail Haniyeh, while the Fatah delegation will be represented by deputy head Mahmud Alul.

According to Fateh central committee deputy secretary general Sabri Saidam, the Palestinian rival factions would meet in Beijing on July 20 and 21.

China Hosted Hamas and Fateh in April 2024. Moreover, a meeting schedule for June was postponed.

China's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian said that China has always backed all sides in Palestine to achieve reconciliation through negotiations.

Added, China is willing to provide a platform for all sides on the Palestine issue in order to develop dialogue and reconciliation.
