On January 31, 2024, Imran Khan and his spouse, Bushra Bibi were sentenced to 14 years jail in Tosha Khana case.
On April 1, 2024, Islamabad high court suspended their sentence in this case ordering their release. But not released because they are facing sentence in other cases too.
Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were sentenced to 7 years jail in Iddah case on February 4, 2024. Moreover, Imran Khan is facing 10 years sentence in Cipher case, was sentenced on January 30, 2024.
All the three sentences (in cipher case, tosha khana case and Iddah case) and court decision of ineligibility of Imran Khan were given hurriedly before elections 2024 to deprive Imran Khan from elections.
Despite, Imran Khan won elections with more than 2/3 majority but elections were rigged overnight.
