Iranian president's helicopter suffers a hard landing


Iran: Iran's state TV (IRIB) reported that the helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi faced an accident in East Azerbaijan province near the region of Jolfa.

The governor of East Azerbaijan Malik Rahmati, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Imam of Tabriz Mosque, Ayatollah Al-Hashemi were travelling along with the president.

The rescue teams trying to reach the site, facing hardship due to foggy weather conditions.

The state TV has not report about president's condition till now.

40 intervention teams are in search of his helicopter.

Eight ambulances have been sent to the site of accident.

Iranian Red Crescent says that they still have no trace of Iranian President's helicopter. 

Supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei has called an emergency meeting of Iran's National Security.
