Iran's president Ebrahim Raisi died in a helicopter crash.

 



On Sunday the helicopter carrying Iranian president, foreign minister, governor of East Azerbaijan and Imam of Tabriz mosque faced an accident near the region of Jolfa due to foggy weather conditions.


The rescue teams find bodies and confirmed that there were no survivors.




Iran supreme leader, Ali Khamenei has announced the five days of public mourning after the death of the president.




Supreme leader confirmed that Iran's vice president Mohammad Mokhber will become interim president to conduct presidential election within 50 days of the death of the president. Moreover, Iran appoints Ali Bagheri Kani as the acting foreign minister.
