Iran: Hamas's commander Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated by Israel in Iran on 31 July. Ismail Haniyeh visited Iran to attend oath ceremony of Iran's newly elected president Masoud Pezeshkian.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) reported on Saturday that Haniyeh was killed by a short-range missile having 7kgs of explosive material short from outside of his residence in Tehran.
Moreover, revealed that explosive material was placed in Haniyeh's residence. According to Middle Eastern, an American and two Iranian officials the bomb was placed in the guest house about two months before Ismail's assassination.
