Schools in Lahore and Multan are set to reopen tomorrow after significant decrease in smog
Students and teachers are advised to wear masks.
Punjab: As per notification issued by government of the Punjab, all the educational institutions will reopen in the whole province tomorrow on 20 November.
A day earlier Punjab government had announced the reopening of all educational institutions in the province from 19 November excluding Lahore and Multan, keeping in view the smog conditions.
Notification, issued by Environment Director General Imran Hamid Sheikh, mandates that all students, teachers and other staff members should wear masks, following the precautionary measures.
Furthermore, there will be complete ban on outdoor sports activities and other outdoor co-curricular activities.
All educational institutes are directed to observe opening timings not before 8:45 am.
