Pakistanis have been facing internet issues frequently especially during the days of protests. X (formerly twitter) has been banned by Pakistan's government since the mid of February 2024 when jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan called for the protest against government's vote manipulation. Since then users are using X through VPN and are facing problems.
Richard Grenell has become popular in Pakistan since he posted on X "Free Imran Khan".
His post asking Elon Musk for Starlink has crossed over 3 Million views.
