Imran Khan's final call: Protestors converge on Islamabad from across Pakistan
Protestors on way to Islamabad on Imran Khan's final call.
Protest on Imran Khan's final call started on Sunday. The purpose of the call is to demand the stolen mandate.
On February 8, 2024 election Khan's party won majority of seats but the results were reversed. Imran Khan is in jail for more than a years since August 05, 2023.
Khan's supporters are on roads, since tomorrow, demanding Khan's release and stolen mandate.
This is first time in the history that a political leader and former prime minister called for a worldwide protest. Visuals of Pakistani protestors from different countries like Greece, Italy, Britain, Norway, Spain and more has been recorded.
Government had blocked the roads across the country before the protest had started with more than 400 containers.
Despite facing tear gas shells, container walls, nails on the roads, police brutality and a number of arrests - people are heading towards Islamabad continuously.
According to the current situation, protestors have reached near to the capital after crossing 'Katti' hill.
For the first time, Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi has been leading the protest from the front. Along with Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur she has been leading people on the way to D-Chowk (Islamabad).
Bushra Bibi has said that she will stand till her last breath and will not return without taking Imran Khan.
