Imran Khan has been bailed in high profile 190 million pounds case.

 Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been in jail since August 5, 2023. Today, in a hearing supreme court of Pakistan grants him bail in a high profile case of 190 million pounds.

Supreme court granting bail to Imran Khan remarked that it has held Imran Khan accountable for every single penny, he is honest and trustworthy.

Al-Qadir is a non-profitable trust built by Imran Khan. The money was sent directly to the supreme court of Pakistan and is in national treasury.

Surprisingly, government of Pakistan is earning billions of rupees from it.

Imran Khan said that like Shaukat Khanum and Namal, Al-Qadir trust is not owned by him and his family nor he has been personally benefited from it.

Officially, government has earned a profit of 13 billion 23 crore rupees from it since the end of 2019.

"This is very interesting that government earned a profit of 13 billion 24 crore rupees in 190 million pounds returned to the country from UK. If money is in the use of the state then what is the point of making a corruption case against Imran Khan." said Hamid Mir (Pakistan's senior journalist)
