Imran Khan's important message from Adiala Jail

Pakistan: Today Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has shared the message of Imran Khan delivered from Adiala jail on July 23, 2024.

Imran Khan's message:

Yesterday, a narrative was circulated in the media with a specific agenda claiming that I incited the public to protest at GHQ. However, in the nearly three decades of Tehreek-e-Insaf's history and particularly over the past two and a half years, there has never been a record of violent protests. PTI has always condemned and opposed violence.

Assassination Attempt on Imran Khan:

In November 2022, I survived an assassination attempt and insisted on filing an FIR against my will. Subsequently, my residence was attacked twice by a military agency. During one of my speeches, individuals in plain clothes were strategically positioned with intent to harm me. Additionally, a former Prime Minister and leader of Pakistan's largest political party attempted to sow discord among the public on May 9th. This incident could have resulted in a major catastrophe, but PTI's political training emphasizes non-violent methods. PTI remains committed to political, constitutional, and legal struggle.

May 9th Events:

The events of May 9th were a false flag operation. Those who stole the CCTV footage bear the real responsibility for the incident. There is an attempt to equate this with the Capitol Hill protests in the United States, which is unwarranted. A transparent investigation revealed those involved and appropriate action was taken without implicating the entire PTI party. Unfortunately, CCTV footage crucial to the investigation disappeared, hindering justice. Innocent PTI members from across Pakistan were unjustly targeted despite not participating in the protest.

Donald Trump's Assassination Attempt:

It's worth noting that after a U.S. president's assassination, the Secret Service acknowledged its failure by the chairman's resignation. In contrast, after a former Prime Minister's assassination in Pakistan, the Secret Service jailed the same Prime Minister.

Digital Terrorism:

Labelling the entire Pakistani nation as terrorists breeds hatred.A few Individuals living in the 70's who are completely unaware of how social media works are distributing the titles of digital terrorism. It's important to recognize that 90% of Pakistan stands with Tehreek-e-Insaf, evident from the overwhelming support in the February 8th elections. Accusing the majority of the population of terrorism risks alienating the public from the army, echoing the divisive consequences of 1971.

Rule of Law:

Countries, governments and societies are built on the basis of morality. Where morality is absent, there is nothing left in the society. Criticisms should focus on upholding the rule of law and genuine freedom, not on baseless accusations of treason. Peaceful dissent should not be met with fascist tactics.

Islamabad Rally:

Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has been instructed to lead a rally in Islamabad. The entire nation is encouraged to join the rally in order to achieve the real freedom opposing the oppressive and fascist regime in the country.
