Arshad Nadeem has achieved a milestone with an exceptional throw of 92.97m, setting a new record in Olympic history.

Paris Olympics 2024: Pakistan's biggest superstar and Javelin player Arshad Nadeem has won first gold medal for Pakistan ending up country's 40 years wait.

He has achieved a milestone with an exceptional throw of 92.97m, setting a new record in Olympic history. Is is first time that Pakistan has won individual gold medal at the Olympics.

In the World Athletics Championships Arshad Nadeem won gold and Neeraj Chopra from India secures silver medal.

Both Arshad and Neeraj had a foul throw in their first attempt. Arshad recorded 92.97m and India's Neeraj Chopra set a throw a throw of 89.45m.

Third position was attained by Grenada's Anderson Peters with a throw of 87.87m. Czechia's Jakub Vadlejech achieved fourth position scoring a 88.50m throw.

Arshad from Mian Channu, has went through a number of obstacles and lack of facilities to prepare himself for championship. He has become Pakistan's national hero.

His whole village managed money for his training and to send him to Olympics.

Former Cricket star and prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan said,"His Persistence and perseverance has done him the nation proud."

Added, Arshad Nadeem is an inspiration for younger generation of Pakistan.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said,"You have made the whole nation proud."

Finally, after fighting against all obstacles he achieved victory and pride for his country by winning gold medal with a record breaking victory.

His continuous struggle without any institutional support marks a history for Pakistan and proved to the world that facilities don't matter, the only thing is your struggle and consistency in order to achieve your goal.

After qualifying for Javelin's final, Nadeem asked for prayers from his nation and said that he is thankful for nation's prayers for him and asked to continue the prayers for his success in the final.
