Imran Khan's Wife, Bushra Bibi, Released on Bail After 9-Month Imprisonment
Bushra Bibi released from Adiala jail after being sentenced to 14 years in prison.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan's wife, Bushra Khan, has been released from jail on bail in the case involving the illegal sale of state gifts.
In January, Khan and his wife were sentenced 14 years in prison in Toshakhana case, which involved the illegal sale of gifts received by the state.
Following her release, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's current chairman, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, claimed that Bushra Bibi had kept in jail as a tactic to pressurize Imran Khan.
The release comes a day after Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted her bail.
She was released from Adiala jail in the garrison city of Rawalpindi, while Imran Khan still remains incarcerated.
From Adiala jail (Rawalpindi), she moved to Bani Gala (Islamabad).
After staying in Bani Gala for some time she left for Zaman Park (Khan's Lahore residence).
The decision to move from Bani Gala to Zaman Park was made on the information of bug in the house and Imran Khan's instructions.
Bushra Khan has been left for Peshawar from Zaman Park.
Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is under PTI's government.
