Israel claims it intercepts missile launched from Yemen, prevents entry

Israel has intercepted a missile launched from Yemen early on Monday.

According to a statement by Israeli spokesperson, Israel has intercepted a missile launched from Yemen early on Monday. Israeli forces prevented missile to enter in the regional territory.

Added that alerts were sounded across central Israel for the fear of destruction being caused by fragments that could fall after the interception of the missile.

As per Israeli military statement, Israeli Navy shot down the missile in the Mediterranean Sea. According to IDF no injuries or damage were reported in the incident.
